Questions and Answers with Dr. Will Kelly

Q: Are you a cosmetic dentist?
Dr. Will: Great question! Yes. In my opinion the best dentistry, when done without compromise, is always cosmetic and returns a patient's smile to a beautiful state. I am very concerned with how patients teeth function and suggest treatment options that restore health and function as well as beauty. Prior to dental school I was on track to be an artist and went to design school. When I realized that dentistry was an art just as much as a health science I decided to change paths and follow in my father's shoes. I think my art background influences my decisions and show in my dental work.

Q: How do you keep up with all the changes in dentistry?
Dr. Will: Lots and lots of continuing education. I get four or five times the training hours required to maintain a dental license. The L. D. Pankey Institute (http://www.pankey.org ) has had a large influence on my practice. I also enjoy training in areas of new technology, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry.

Q: Do you see children?
Dr. Will: I enjoy treating the children of my adult patients. My interest and continued training has my primary focus on restoring adult cases. It is very rewarding however to build relationships with families. In fact, many of my adult patients grew up in our practice with my father. If there are limitations to treatment with young children because of anxiety I refer them to a pediatric dentist.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?
Dr. Will: We file all dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients. Financial arrangements and estimations of cost are put together up front. I understand that budgeting can be a barrier to getting uncompromised dental care. Most often for major procedures, dental plans do not help tremendously. In addition to accepting cash, checks, and all major credit cards, we accept and can arrange financing with Care Credit and American General.
